Poland’s New Mode of Operation in the EU

Abstract
Under the government of Donald Tusk, Poland’s position in the European Union has changed. Through strength of initiative, an ability to cooperate and a readiness to assume responsibility for a growing number of fields of policy, Poland has gained an ability to act strategically and, with that, stature in Europe. Economic and financial policy issues are becoming more important for Poland. The presidency of EU Council will reinforce the Europeanisation of politics and administration in Poland. But the country’s administrative and political resources are reaching their limits.
